SKFF 2020
Visual Design, 2020

In the summer in 2020, when the pandemic changed how society worked, Swedish Korean Film Festival (SKFF) aimed to present short films online, as part of an international exchange and establishing a new meeting place for lovers and makers of films.
For this project, I was in charge of designing the logo, poster, website, and other visual communication materials to promote the event.

The images here are from one of my proposals. The concept of the visual is that the projection reveals what's hidden, while different geometric shapes represent different perspectives, just like every screening arises different issues. As for the logo, the square and round represent Sweden and Korea individually.
When it is printed, the concept could be visualized with the cover page that showing parts of the content underneath.
There were four screening days for the festival.

On the website, a customized PLAY button was created to navigate the audience while the screening time. The square and round shapes transform to each other, symbolizing the collaboration between Sweden and Korea in this festival.

The trailer video was made by David Low
The gradient colors were used to separate different screening dates. It created nice continuous flow when scrolling.
